The Dashboard for your Body

BodyMedia has created the most efficient way to date, for you to know whats going on in your body. They announced they are going to be able to communicate with smart-phones using Blue-tooth to their armband sensors. They have been working closely with Apple and Google to develop this amazing smart-phone application. It means a person can monitor through their smart-phone their physical activity, calories burned, body heat, sleep efficiency and numerous more things since it got a whooping collection of 9,000 variables all collected by the armband sensor. Change of Idea for my Project

What I'm going to research for my project is "Multimedia in Sports". I came to this conclusion after considering my interest's / skills and trying to combine them with an idea with relevance. I have great interest in Sport in general, I have played soccer and football with my local clubs and I'm currently a member of a martial arts group so i will see how multimedia has already influenced sports and how it could in the future. I will concentrate on more the training aspect of sports to see can multimedia improve the training of any particular sport. I will also research any previous studies, tests or documents on this subject already to see what has been researched previously.

Cybertecture Mirror

This Wen Wei Po invention seems like a ordinary mirror but will have widgets and applications built in that will show a wide range of factors from the weather to your workout schedules and messages. You wont be able to pre-order this futuristic mirror till December and they wont begin shipping till the middle of next year. It was launched in Hong Kong 12-10-2010. for 60,000 HKD which is about 5,500 euro's and Wen Wei Po are still expecting to sell two million in the first three years.

My Emerging Technologies Project

What I'm planning on creating is a Texas Hold'em Poker Odds Calculator App for an iphone and itouch. The app shall calculate a players winning ratio according to their two cards and normalizes the winning ratio relative to the number of players. It will give a percentage from -100% to +100%.This algorithm gives a basic flow of events of the app.

FILE in Brazil

This is an festival held in Brazil the Electronic Language International Festival.

This was the winner Tardigotchi. It is an artwork featuring two pets a living organism and a life avatar.



I found it very interesting and made me wonder about social media as the tamagotchi is from years back at even then humans felt the need to have contact with artificial intelligence and AI has evolved rapidly since and would wonder is there anything like this anymore.
